Mike graduated from Granada Hills High School and was a Business major at CSUN. He also served 12 years as president of National Association of Letter Carriers, serving as Chief Negotiator in several local contract negotiations.

Nancy graduated from James Monroe High School. Nancy, along with Mike owned and managed a large Video Sales and Rental Store in Granada Hills.
