- Mike graduated from Granada Hills High School and was a Business major at CSUN. He also served 12 years as president of National Association of Letter Carriers, serving as Chief Negotiator in several local contract negotiations.
- Nancy graduated from James Monroe High School. Nancy, along with Mike owned and managed a large Video Sales and Rental Store in Granada Hills.
